Waynetown – Edwin M. Shea, 73, retired National Homse Acceptance Corp VP and staff attorney died at 3 this morning at home. He had been ill 1 ½ years. Born in Louisville, Ky, he came to Indiana as a child and lived in the Waynetown area most of his life. He was a 1931 graduate of Indianapolis Tech HS and 1933 graduate of Indiana School of law. He was married in 1937 to Lois Fruits of Waynetown who survives. Mr. Shea retired from National Homes Acceptance Corp in 1975. He was a member of Waynetown United Methodist Church, the Indiana Bar Association, the Montgomery County Historical Society and the Friends of the Crawfordsville Library, working in genealogy. A veteran of WWII, he was a member of the American Legion Post 445, Waynetown. Surviving with the widow is a son, Stephen Shea of Waynetown. – kbz
